Sleepless

For days and days
The nights seem to become longer
Or at least different

For all those days
The world seems to get stronger
Or a little ignorent

Why am I not sleeping now
Why can`t my body let me rest?
Why am I sitting here now
Why do I always have to be best?

For hours and hours
The paper on my desk increases
Or at least stays the same

For all those hours
The work that should please us
Does make me feel lame
